I have to admit...visting SSK and the Saikap Samriti Sthal was the highlight of my recent visit to India (after 18 years). While the overall condition of the school premises has really degraded, this memorial is truly a simple yet powerful addition in a nice peaceful corner of the property. And, it allowed me to pay my homage to these brave souls in person...it was special.

They lived and died for the dream called India. India that can be an example to the rest of the humanity. In their death they remind us that the dream lives on and it is for the present and future generations to make it a reality. I salute them for their supreme sacrifice, for a nation that has the potential for greatness.
